- <p> CONVICTED. Mohammed Abu Talb, 35, a Palestinian suspected
- in the December 1988 Pan Am Flight 103 explosion over
- Lockerbie, Scotland, which killed 270 people; of bombing a
- synagogue and airline offices in Copenhagen and Amsterdam; in
- Uppsala, Sweden. Abu Talb received a life term for the Amsterdam
- and Copenhagen bombings. Last month police seized clothing from
- Abu Talb's Uppsala home that may connect him to garment
- fragments found at Lockerbie and in Malta, where, according to
- one theory, the Flight 103 bomb was prepared.
